As a practice, we are true believers that preventative care and education are the keys to optimal dental health. We strive to provide “dental health care” vs. “disease care”. We focus on thorough exams in which we check the overall health of your teeth and gums, including performing oral cancer screenings and taking x-rays when necessary. We also implement and promote routine cleanings, oral hygiene including brushing and flossing techniques, sealants, and fluoride treatments as these are all helpful in preventing dental disease. A review of your medical history, including any illnesses and the use of medications, helps us properly address your oral health. Since different areas of our bodies are interconnected, our oral health can affect other aspects of our health. By promoting the importance of attaining healthy mouths, we are committed to ensuring your overall health and well-being.
